About us

The Bradford District and Craven Palliative Care Network is a partnership of organisations who work together to plan and deliver care, in the best possible way for palliative and end-of-life care patients, their families and carers.

We serve a population of around 650,000 people in Bradford District and Craven and we are supported by voluntary and community sector organisations.

The partners within the Bradford District and Craven Palliative Care Network have a shared vision that all people with a life limiting condition should have timely and equitable access to high quality palliative and end of life care regardless of their personal characteristics or where they choose to receive their care. The care should reflect the individual’s priorities, preferences and wishes. The partners aim is to achieve the following:

  1. Each person is seen as an individual
  2. Each person gets fair access to care
  3. Maximising comfort and wellbeing
  4. Care is coordinated
  5. All staff are prepared to care
  6. Each community is prepared to help
